Prayer for two families

I just received this e-mail this morning:

Dear Co-op Family,

Jennifer Smith* and the Jones* family, one of the families for which she regularly baby-sits, need our love and prayers. Today while Jennifer* babysat 4 month old Elizabeth Jones* at the Smith* home, Elizabeth* went to heaven as she slept.

* I changed the names for their privacy and protection, God knows who they are.


Lord, we pray your peace and presence on these families.

Philippians 4:7 (NIV)
That the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard their hearts and their minds in Christ Jesus.

Romans 15:13
May the God of hope fill them with all joy and peace as they trust in him, so that they may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
